Meet Some of Our Retirees |
Over the years Powderhill Goldens has hand picked some of the finest dames and sires to breed in New England. Here are a few of our favorites....

Powderhills DAR’s Lady (aka Darla) was the Grand Dam of Powderhill Goldens. She was everything a golden should be. Darla was champion sired and an excellent representative of breed standard. Her extraordinary temperment laid the foundation for what we strive for in every Powderhill Puppy.
Zoe’s Powderhill Buttercup, an AKC registered golden out of Powderhill’s Sugar Baby and Powderhill’s Second Chance was one of the sweetest Golden Retrievers we ever bred. Her temperment has been passed down through the generations that followed her.
Zoe’s Powderhill My Calypso, a beautiful AKC-registered, light colored golden is our newest retiree, having just been retired from breeding this year. She was as gracious and gentle a dog as you will ever see.

Lacy is our AKC-registered standard poodle. She is a small standard sized poodle at just 34 pounds and she has a coat of soft red curls. Lacy is currently housed at Janet's daughter's house.

Our AKC-registered, light colored Golden Retriever, Powderhill's Second Chance sired more than a dozen litters during his tenure as the Patriarch of Powderhill. "Muggs" had a fantastic disposition that is only matched by his superior confirmation.
